How to Post your Picture

To post your picture, click into "Member Login" and then "Your Pictures". You will have the option to "post" or "view". Click on "post" and you can then bring up files on your hard drive. Select the picture you would like to post for your thumbnail picture (the small picture which introduces your profile). You can then post up to 5 more pictures (a total of 6 pictures.)

To change and edit your pictures, click on "view". It will show you which pictures you have showing as your thumbnail and other additional photos. You can change, delete or deactivate your pictures from this page. (Please refer to photo below).

A couple of hints when posting pictures..... For your first picture which is only 80x100 pixels in size, it is best to crop it down as small as possible and to use a closeup. It will be viewed more clearly.

If you are scanning...
an 8 x 10, scan at about 30% of original size
a 5 x 7, scan at about 50% of original size
a 4 x 6, scan at about 75% of original size
a wallet size photo, scan at 100% of original size

SAVE SCAN ON LOW QUALITY SETTING (this keeps the file size small). It will look great on a computer screen, because the resolution of a screen is far from photo print quality anyway.

You may mail us a photo and we will scan it for you for only a $5.00 fee per picture. Example...(If you are sending 2 pictures, it would be $10.00.) If you would like your photo back, please send your picture with a self-addressed stamped envelope. Remember to include your username and email address with your picture.
